Grady Fest

The 2009 Grady Fest, a night showcasing the best in student video production, will be held on Friday, May 8, at the Tate Center Theater.

Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30 p.m. A brief awards ceremony honoring the best projects screened that evening will follow at 9:30 p.m. The public is invited to attend and admission is free.

O'Donnell Named UGA Lilly Teaching Fellow

Casey O'Donnell, Grady College assistant professor of telecommunications and new media, has been selected as a University of Georgia Lilly Teaching Fellow for 2009 to 2011.

The Lilly Teaching Fellows program is a faculty development opportunity designed specifically for junior faculty members at UGA. Each year, 10 tenure-track assistant professors who are recent recipients of a Ph.D. or terminal degree and who are in their first, second or third year at UGA are selected.
